June Guo is a PhD student in Anthropology with a PhD Minor in African Studies. Her interests are focused on Africa-China relations, especially in East Africa. She has studied Mandarin and Swahili at advanced levels. Guo has an MS in Community Development and Applied Economics from the University of Vermont, and a BA in Sociology from Bowdoin College.
