Tonya Kenny Dodez is a Ph.D. student in Political Science and an African Studies Ph.D. minor. She was the recipient of a Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship (FLAS) to study Wolof in Dakar, Senegal over the 2018 summer. She also received a 2018-2019 academic year FLAS to continue her study of Wolof.
