African Studies Program

Caroline Obuya is pursuing a Masters in Media Arts and Sciences.

Her research interests lie in media effects on society, environmental health, environmental policy and culture.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with a minor in International Relations and a concentration in Public Relations, from the United States International University-Africa.

Before joining the Graduate program, she worked in a mainstream media house in Kenya as a senior reporter.

Caroline currently serves as the Windows to the World Digital Toolbox Assistant at the Hamilton Lugar School of Global and International Studies in the African Studies Program.
