African Studies Program

Kehinde Ligali is a Masters's student in African Studies. She held a Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship for Yorùbá in 2017. In summer 2018, she participated in the Fulbright Groups Program Abroad to Nigeria. As well, she was one of the organizers of the 2018 Graduate Students in African Studies Symposium. Ligali has been active in the African Students Association. In 2017, she opened Arewa, an online-delivery restaurant with two fellow IU students.
