Fabiyi Segun is pursuing a Masters in African Studies. His interests are in African Politics, International Development, Governance, Semantics and Socio-Political Discourse Analysis. He earned a BA degree in English from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria where he researched “Euphemism and Dysphemism in the Language of Nnamdi Kanu.” He taught Cambridge A. Levels examination for English and Literature; and International examinations like TOEFL, IELTS, GRE and PTE. In 2020, he received the Fulbright scholarship and taught Yoruba language at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill as an FLTA. He is a graduate of Pepsi Football Academy and he is likely to be seen playing soccer in his free time.
